HALF A DAY TO IMAGINE HOW SPACE TRANSFORMS PERFORMANCE AND INNOVATION
This year, #Factory2026 sends us into orbit at the International Space University (ISU) to explore new opportunities for industry and health. This event is organized in partnership with ISU, Biovalley France and IGBMC.

You think space isn’t for you? Think again.
Space is not an end, it’s a lever for innovation.

On June 11th, #Factory2026 offers you a real learning expedition (discovery journey) around concrete space applications: an opening conference, a startup village, thematic workshops and an expert panel discussion.

THE ORBIT: THE NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR INDUSTRY AND HEALTH

What if we explored together the possibilities to enable you to innovate and act?

Come challenge your convictions and discover unexpected perspectives that could well transform your vision of business!

The event that shakes up business returns to challenge preconceived ideas and explore with you the opportunities that open up when orbit meets our terrestrial challenges.

This year, #Factory takes off towards unexplored territory:

  • How do technologies developed for space revolutionize our industries?
  • What medical innovations emerge from microgravity research?
  • How do space standards transform industrial performance?

#FACTORY 2026: A DAY THAT SHAKES UP BUSINESS!

The day is designed to inspire, connect and move to action. Here is what awaits you:

12:00 PM Food Truck Lunch — Free access — kick off the day in a relaxed, convivial  atmosphere.
12PM – 6PM Startup Village & Exhibition Space — Meet dozens of innovators,  explore live demos and discover the latest advances in space tech, health, robotics and data.
2:00 – 2:45 PM Opening Ceremony & Keynote — Barbara Belvisi (CEO, Interstellar Lab) opens the event with an inspiring vision of the link between space and terrestrial industry. Not to be missed.
3:15 & 4:45 PM Discovery & Inspiration Workshops (registration required) — Health & biotech, microgravity as an innovation accelerator, in-orbit manufacturing, spatial data, strategic alliances, future collaboration…
3:15 – 4:15 PM Panel — From Orbit to Earth — How is the low-orbit economy transforming industry and creating new markets? Free access.
4:45 – 5:45 PM ISU Student Pitch Session — ISU students present interactive dashboards built from satellite data tackling climate, biodiversity and resource management. The next generation is here.

By registration Immersive Dome Planetarium — A one-of-a-kind experience in the ISU library — dive into the stars and return with a new perspective on what space can bring to Earth.

6:15 – 7:00 PM Closing Ceremony & #Factory2026 Awards — Trophy ceremony, ISU Advanced Studies Laureate pitch, and closing address.

#FACTORY 2026 ORIENTATION

A EXPLOSIVE GUEST: BARBARA BELVISI

Barbara Belvisi à #Factory2026

Space, biology and AI entrepreneur, Barbara BELVISI started her career in finance at 22 before becoming the youngest woman founder of a venture capital fund at 26.

Recognized in the top 10 women in Tech in France and the Forbes Europe Top 100 2018, this self-taught engineer collaborated for a year with NASA engineers before creating Interstellar Lab, which develops cultivation and sustainable habitation modules for Earth and space.

THE PANEL: "From orbit to earth: how the low orbit economy transforms industry and creates new markets"

Low orbit is no longer reserved for space agencies. It’s a rapidly expanding economic space that is redefining our terrestrial industries.

François Spiero, Manager of European Space Affairs at the French Prime Minister’s Office, delegate to EUSPA’s board of directors will be present alongside representatives from ATMOS Space Cargo, Space Cargo Unlimited, Latitude and EUSPA – EU Agency for the Space Programme.

Questions on the table:

  • How does the orbit economy transform our industries?
  • What new markets are emerging?
  • What place for European companies, and especially, what place for YOU in this revolution?

You don’t need to be a space expert to understand these issues. Come discover how this economy under construction can create opportunities for your activity.

THE WORKSHOPS: to go from orbit to action

Space is not contemplated, it’s experienced. On June 11th, #Factory2026 offers two workshop formats by registration, facilitated in English, to concretely understand how space technologies can integrate into your activity.

Discovery Workshops take place in two sessions (3:15pm-4:15pm and 4:45pm-5:45pm, maximum 20 people). Facilitated by NewSpace startups with facilitators, they make you work collectively on concrete collaborations. Imagine, experiment, build.

Inspiration Workshops follow the same format (two sessions of maximum 20 people). Pioneer companies that have already integrated space into their activity share their experience. Not space experts: industrialists like you, who took the leap.

ISU STUDENT PITCH (4:45pm-5:45pm, free access)

What if the data orbiting above our heads could help us better understand and act on our environmental challenges? International Space University students take up this challenge live in a PIB-style pitch workshop (Paddock Innovation Box).

Each team presents an interactive web dashboard developed from satellite and Earth observation data. These tools are designed to make environmental issues more visible, accessible and exploitable, whether it’s climate change, biodiversity or environmental degradation.

These solutions, imagined by the next generation of space talents, are presented to Alsatian economic actors. A concrete demonstration that space innovation is also built in lecture halls and that space technologies can provide practical answers to our territory’s challenges.

THE STARTUP VILLAGE: What if you met your next partner there?

Discover more than thirty exhibitors at the heart of #Factory2026 in free access from 12pm to 6pm. You’ll meet entrepreneurs from medtech, biotech, advanced materials, satellite telecommunications… Their technologies can create synergies with your activity, whether you’re a supplier, subcontractor or industrialist.

Low orbit is an economy under construction that impacts the entire value chain: equipment, services, transversal applications. Come discover applications you didn’t know about, facilitated and made possible thanks to space. Come imagine collaborations, explore new innovation levers.

Because your next opportunity might be hiding in a space technology.

What exactly is #Factory?

#Factory is the signature event of Paddock Academy!
4 editions that have shaken convictions, pushed limits and valued the strength of « doing together ».

It’s the essential annual meeting point for innovation, entrepreneurship and economic diversity, serving all actors in Alsace.

Our companies observe technological waves arriving. They undergo these transformations, their rhythms accelerate, collectives worry, staying on course often seems complex. Moving forward in troubled waters becomes the norm.

#Factory inspires and opens new perspectives to better accept change, prepare for it, and turn constraints into opportunities to remain efficient.

Space has become the new frontier to conquer, whether for industries or in the health field. #Factory 2026 tackles the subject. But not alone.

Paddock Academy surrounds itself with partners and experts for its 5th edition.

It’s no longer time to wonder if we’re going, we’re going!!!
